I’ve been sucked into the blogosphere.

lifeonislandtime:

June 2nd will be the first day of my 11th summer at Tapawingo.  Wow.  It’s always been hard to explain to people exactly what day-to-day life is like at Tap, so in honor of spending over a decade on the island, I’ve decided it’s finally time to start to write about it.  To be honest, I’ve always been skeptical about having a blog of any sort (no offense Andrew), but let’s face it- little girls at camp say and do hilarious things.  And spending an entire summer on an island in the middle of the Adirondacks makes the staff say and do hilarious things too…My hope, though, is that you will not only be encouraged by the crazy things that Tap girls do, but also by what the Lord is doing in the hearts of all the girls we minister to this summer.  God has set this little island apart for His work and it is a privilege to be a part of it every summer.  I pray that you will be able to experience just a little part of that with me as you get a glimpse into what it’s like to be a Tap girl…

My sister finally started a blog!  Follow her as she spends a summer on an island in Nowheresville-Upstate-New-York hiking, swimming, camping, waterskiing, causing a rukus, etc with a bunch of crazy girls.
